Job Overview :We are seeking an experienced and skilled ServiceNow Scope / Custom Application Lead / Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of custom ServiceNow applications and solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ServiceNow scripting, integrations, and architecture, along with the ability to design and architect custom solutions tailored to our business needs.

Key Responsibilities :ServiceNow Scripting :

  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) for both client-side and server-side development.

Custom Application Design :

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring the solutions align with best practices.

Architecture & Design :

  • Lead the architecture and design of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance ServiceNow solutions.

Integration :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration strategies and lead the integration of third-party systems with ServiceNow.
  • Ensure seamless data exchange and functional alignment.

Leadership :

  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior developers, ensuring high-quality development standards and best practices.

Requirement Analysis :

  • Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to understand requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure the solution meets business objectives.

Performance Tuning :

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations.

Documentation :

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation for all custom applications, integrations, and configurations.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure expectations are managed and met.

Innovation :

  • Continuously evaluate emerging ServiceNow capabilities and industry trends to ensure that the organization is leveraging the platform's full potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on scripting and custom applications.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow Architecture and Design principles.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.) and integration best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and others.
  • Experience in leading the technical design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize the performance of ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
