Amazon Lumberyard Developer: Build Cinematic, Scalable 3D Worlds

Pentoz is hiring an experienced Amazon Lumberyard Developer to craft immersive 3D simulations, training tools, and interactive environments. You'll push the boundaries of visual fidelity, performance, and real-time storytelling using a AAA-grade engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive 3D applications using Amazon Lumberyard
  • Leverage C++, Lua, and Lumberyard's component entity system to build gameplay mechanics and simulations
  • Implement rendering, physics, animation, and audio systems for realism and responsiveness
  • Optimize for performance across PC, console, and cloud-based deployments
  • Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, and project leads to deliver cinematic user experiences

You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience with Amazon Lumberyard or CryEngine
  • Proficiency in C++, real-time rendering, and scene management
  • Strong understanding of game loops, event systems, and multiplayer features
  • Familiarity with asset pipelines, LODs, shaders, and performance profiling
  • Portfolio showcasing high-fidelity 3D or simulation projects
