Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Business Development Manager
to lead CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service) sales. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through our communication suite—SMS, WhatsApp, Voice, and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities in enterprise and mid-market segments for CPaaS products (SMS, WhatsApp API, Voice, Email, RCS, etc.)
- Build and manage a robust pipeline through prospecting, cold calls, networking, and inbound leads
- Conduct client meetings, product demos, and technical discussions with solution architects
- Understand client requirements and tailor solutions that meet their communication needs
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Collaborate with marketing, presales, and tech teams to align on client solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends, competition, pricing, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and forecasts using CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot)
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of proven experience in
CPaaS
, telecom, SaaS, or cloud communications sales - Strong understanding of APIs, messaging platforms (WhatsApp Business API, SMS gateway, Voice IVR), and customer engagement strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Tech-savvy with a consultative selling approach
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
