About the Role -

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to begin or grow their career in accounting. The Junior Accountant will support daily financial operations, assist with month-end close processes, manage collection activities, and contribute to the overall financial integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables, ensuring timely collections and maintaining positive relationships with client managers.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reports.
  • Maintain organized documentation of financial records for audits and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy in expense tracking and financial reporting.
  • Maintain an understanding of GST and TDS regulations and assist with related compliance tasks.
  • Support auditors by providing necessary information and documentation during audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 03 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to collections or receivables management.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, ZohoBooks, or similar systems (ERP knowledge is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of GST and TDS processes.
