We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented
SQL Technical Support & Business Analyst
to design, develop, and maintain custom data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in
SQL and PL/SQL
, coupled with analytical skills in
Power BI
and business analysis. This role involves both technical development and business collaboration to ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and impactful reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom database solutions as per business requirements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and optimized SQL code and stored procedures.
  • Conduct unit testing and validation to ensure data integrity and system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug SQL, database, and web application issues.
  • Develop insightful dashboards and reports using
    Power BI
    to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain code changes using tools like
    Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
    .
  • Create and maintain comprehensive
    technical and functional documentation
    .
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies in SQL, reporting, and analytics.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years
    of hands-on experience in
    SQL
    and
    PL/SQL
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    T-SQL
    and
    relational database concepts
    (primary keys, foreign keys, joins, stored procedures, functions, etc.).
  • Proven experience in
    optimizing SQL queries
    and improving performance.
  • Hands-on experience in
    Power BI
    – report creation, data modeling, DAX, and visualization.
  • Strong
    analytical and business acumen
    with experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder coordination.
  • Familiarity with
    reporting tools
    such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Word, or Adobe Acrobat.
  • Basic understanding of
    ASP.NET, C#/.NET, VB.Net, JavaScript, jQuery
    is an added advantage.
  • Excellent
    troubleshooting skills
    and a keen
    attention to detail
    .
  • Good communication and documentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
