We are seeking a dynamic Automation Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automation systems and be passionate about driving sales in the manufacturing industry. This role involves understanding client requirements, providing tailored solutions, and fostering long-term relationships with customers. The Automation Sales Engineer will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish relationships with potential customers in the manufacturing sector.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate automation solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing the deal.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers and handle post-sales inquiries.
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences to network and promote our solutions.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or a Diploma in relevant fields.
  • 1-12 years of experience in sales or engineering roles, preferably in the automation or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in technical presentations and customer engagement.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
