Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis II/III to join our team at Flax Healthy Living, a premium brand known for promoting wellness through clean, natural ingredients. The role involves assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered from our cloud kitchen outlets in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of food items, following standard recipes and guidelines.
  • Support in managing kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders from the kitchen.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages.
  • Help with receiving and proper storage of deliveries.
  • Participate in maintaining the kitchen's overall sanitation and hygiene, including cleaning kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Assist in waste management and ensure minimal food wastage.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve kitchen processes and maintain a smooth workflow.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a health-conscious or fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the standards and values.
  • A passion for healthy eating and natural ingredients is a plus.
