Senior SEO Executive (Travel Industry)-Job Summary ( Min 5 year in Travel domain Experience is Mandatory)
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Senior SEO Executive to lead our search engine optimization strategy and drive organic growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the travel sector and a proven track record of increasing organic traffic and search engine rankings. You will work closely with content, marketing, and development teams to ensure all SEO initiatives align with business goals and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and execution: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to boost website traffic and conversions.
- Keyword research and analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research specific to travel destinations, activities, and booking services to identify opportunities and drive content strategy.
- On-page optimization: Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, and images, and improve URL structures for maximum search engine visibility.
- Content collaboration: Work with content creators to develop engaging, high-quality, and SEO-friendly travel guides, articles, and blog posts.
- Technical SEO: Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site architecture, crawlability, mobile optimization, and site speed.
- Link building: Design and manage effective off-page SEO and link-building campaigns, including building relationships with travel bloggers, journalists, and influencers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in SEO, with a preference for candidates from the travel industries.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO principles.
- Analytical skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable working with high volumes of data to derive actionable insights.
- Tool proficiency: Expertise in using SEO tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry knowledge: A deep understanding of the travel industry is a significant plus, including common customer search behavior for flights, accommodations, and tours.
- Certifications: Certifications such as Google Analytics or HubSpot SEO are a bonus.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt quickly to algorithm changes and dynamic industry trends
- Performance monitoring and reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush to track, report, and analyze key SEO performance metrics. Provide regular, data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Competitive analysis: Monitor competitor SEO strategies to identify gaps and opportunities in the travel market.
- Algorithm updates: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry news to adapt strategies effectively.
- Team leadership: Guide and mentor junior SEO specialists, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and on schedule.
