Guest Relation Officer

Role & responsibilities
- Attend to all patient and visitor inquiries politely and efficiently.
- Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges during the night shift.
- Handle billing, receipts, and cash collection as per hospital policy.
- Maintain records of room occupancy, patient details, and reports.
- Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, and security for patient needs.
- Ensure all front office reports, handovers, and documentation are completed before shift closure.
- Answer incoming calls, route them appropriately, and manage emergency calls promptly.
- Monitor visitor movement and maintain decorum in the reception area.
- Address patient/attendant complaints courteously and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information at all times.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital software).
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure calmly.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in English and Tamil (knowledge of Hindi/Telugu is an added advantage).
Preferred candidate profile
- Any graduate (preferably in hospitality/administration).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in hospital front office operations or customer service.
