Job Title – GL Accounting Sr Mgr
About the Role:
Person responsible for executing business strategy, by ensuring smooth people management & service delivery in dedicated service areas. Responsible for ensuring delivering accuracy and timing at desired level, operations monitoring.
What You'll Do:
- Monitoring work of reporting managers for service delivery, ensuring ownership of delivery.
- Driving operations in line with department's service level agreement (ownership of delivery)
- Actively supporting operational excellence and improvement opportunities
- Understanding of operational impact of team/tower work and connection with other teams/processes
- Raising necessary audit risks and service failures, work on mitigation plan (control, preventive actions)
- Accountable for proper communication and meeting governance within the reporting structure
- Resolving escalations received from the clients
- Handling recruitment process
- Budget and staffing planning
- Using Lean / Six Sigma Methodologies to ensure Data-Driven Operations
- Accountable for delivery performance in line with assigned KPIs
- Maintenance of ad hoc tasks, given by superior
What You'll Need:
- MS Excel at advanced level
- Strong verbal and written communication at all levels, including with peers, managers, and internal/external customer
- Proven management experience (5+years)
- Expertise in PTP/OTC finance areas
- Knowledge of Yardi or Tramps or Horizon ERP systems would be an advantage.
