Position: Junior Inventory Control Analyst

Experience: 2-4 years (preferably inventory related)

Academic Requirement: BE (Mechanical)

Compensation: As per industry standards

Probation: 6 Months

Others: Experience of working in Automotive/Manufacturing organization would be preferred.

Job Roles & Responsibilities-

  • Analysis of Inventory throughout all global locations of CTA and drafting inventory MIS reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
  • Support inventory planning, forecasting and MRP execution in line with production and demand plans.
  • Review and validate system-generated MRP requirements, coordinate with procurement and PMC teams for timely actions.
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels across plants, warehouses/distribution centers to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Prepare management reports and dashboards using power BI and advanced excel for data visualization and insights.
  • Enforce and execute inventory control measures that will ensure minimal stock loss and damage and maximize efficiencies of production by managing periodic obsolescence pulls, fast-moving, slow-moving items analysis, investigating/resolving all receiving discrepancies.
  • Overall analysis of inventory flow from point of purchase to point of sale ensuring inventory is correctly accounted for and support to senior SCM authorities on other projects as needed.
  • Monitor the book inventory and distribution status reports, searching for anomalies and correcting errors as they are discovered.
  • Follow up with DCs to ensure that inventory discrepancies are addressed and corrected.

  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret inventory/analysis reports.
  • Proficient in MRP and ERP-based planning (Experience in Microsoft Business central will be highly preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Advance Excel-pivot tables, power query, lookups, dashboards, data analysis) and power BI.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
