Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will be the first point of contact in the client engagement journey. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with qualified leads provided by the company, build initial relationships and set meetings or discovery calls for the senior sales team. You will also assist in nurturing client relationships and support digital outreach efforts through social media, WhatsApp, email and LinkedIn campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement & Follow-Up:
Call and connect with leads shared by the company, ensure timely follow-ups and maintain continuous engagement until the lead is handed over to the senior sales team. - Meeting Coordination:
Schedule discovery calls or meetings for senior management with prospective clients. - Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary contact at the initial stage, build trust, address queries and manage relationships. Digital Outreach & Campaigning:
Execute WhatsApp and email marketing campaigns.
- Reach out to potential clients and engage through LinkedIn.
Maintain and update lead databases for all outreach activities.
CRM Management:
Accurately record call outcomes, meeting details and follow-up status in the CRM system.- Reporting:
Share weekly reports on lead status, campaign performance and meeting outcomes. - Learning & Process Improvement:
Participate in internal sales training and continuously improve your communication and client-handling skills.
What We're Looking For
- Experience:
1–3 years in Industrial Sales, Capital Goods Selling, or concept selling (preferably B2B environment). - Industry Background:
Proven track record in insurance, software sales, real estate, capital goods (or B2B or Industrial Sales) Skills:
Excellent verbal/written communication and active‑listening skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and trust with senior executives
- Well‑organized, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
Proficiency in WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn and email marketing.
Attitude:
Self‑motivated, target‑driven and ready to take full ownership of client success.- Career Opportunity:
