Job Location: Mumbai thane - Ho

  • Machine part design and making drawings in auto cad and SolidWorks software.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing process of machine parts and fabricated parts, which can be used in making design and drawings.

  • Experience in engineering calculations.

  • Basic knowledge of material grades used in engineering industry.

  • Must have good experience in checking drawings.

  • Can attend meetings with customers, vendors for technical discussions.

  • Can visit customers and our factories, as and when required.

  • Must have knowledge of measuring instruments.

  • Knowledge of word, excel, power point, etc. will be preferable.

  • 8-10 years' experience in component level design & equipment's

  • Project/ Product Coordination: Work closely with the design team to coordinate various aspects of design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project/ Product milestones/ deadlines, Review & approve Drawings, design, and Product Manuals.

  • R & D: In developing new products with specifications by collaborating with engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to meet both design and manufacturing requirements.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, Projects, Marketing, and quality assurance, to integrate design solutions seamlessly into the manufacturing process. Review and optimize design processes to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs while maintaining product quality.

  • Documentation Management: Manage and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and revisions, ensuring accurate records for future reference.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in solid works, AutoCAD, FEA analysis Software's

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of competent level design manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies relevant to the industry to provide informed input into the design process.

  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address design challenges, working closely with the team to find practical and innovative solutions that align with project objectives.

  • Support DGM Engineering: Assist the DGM Engineering in overseeing the design team, monitoring project progress, and ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Support DGM Engineering for preparation and presentation of data for technical meetings.

  • To monitor ISO system of department to check .

  • Approve technical documents of bought out items.

  • Leadership Skills – Should be collaborative leader to manage team and build efficiency & effectiveness of team.
