Job Description Summary

A Production Manager in an aerospace manufacturing company is responsible for overseeing aircraft or aerospace component production, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality compliance while managing teams and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the entire manufacturing process of aircraft or aerospace components, from raw materials to final assembly.
  • Influential knowledge into 5 axis Programming and Process and Methods Engineering
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to aerospace industry standards (such as AS9100) and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead and train production staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Scheduling & Planning: Develop production schedules aligned with project deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage budgets, materials, and equipment to optimize production efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to resolve issues and streamline operations.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with aerospace safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or industrial engineering; advanced degrees or certifications in production management are a plus.
  • Experience: 5–10 years in aerospace or advanced manufacturing, with proven leadership in production environments.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with aerospace materials, manufacturing processes (CNC machining, composites, assembly), and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or AS9100 quality management knowledge is highly valued.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
