Role Overview:

The Senior Manager - QS is responsible for leading the quantity Surveying and Contracts function for construction projects from pre-contract to post-contract stages. This role oversees cost planning, tendering, contract administration, billing, and claims management to ensure financial efficiency, cost control, and contractual compliance.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution/ Quantity Surveying (B.E/B.Tech or Equivalent).
  • Master's degree in Construction Management or QS is an advantage.
  • Experience : 8-10 years of experience in QS, Cost Management, and Contracts.
  • Experience with High-Rise, Industrial, Infrastructure, or Commercial projects ( as per requirement).
  • Proven experience in supervising and coordination site activities. Familiarity with local construction practices, regulations, and quality standards in India, Karnataka.

Technical Skills :

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost benchmarks.
  • Expertise is BOQ preparations, rate analysis, and contract conditions.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations ( eg., IS Codes, relevant safety acts).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design software is a plus.

  • Accuracy of cost estimates and budgets.
  • Timeliness in billing and certification.
  • Contract compliance and dispute resolution efficiency.
  • Cost savings achieved through value engineering.
  • Vendor/contractor performance and cost control.
  • Team productivity and coordination effectiveness.
