Business Development Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) to spearhead growth initiatives, focusing on securing new business, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue within the wellness and/or healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of sales acumen, market knowledge, and relationship-building expertise to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Lead Generation:
- Identify, qualify, and target new business opportunities and leads, particularly within the wellness and healthcare markets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets.
- Conduct compelling presentations and develop customized proposals that articulate our value proposition to prospective clients and partners.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact through negotiation and closing deals.
- Relationship & Partnership Building:
- Build, maintain, and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and potential strategic partners.
- Identify and secure local and industry-specific partnerships to expand service reach and market penetration.
- Act as a primary point of contact for new clients, ensuring exceptional client engagement and smooth onboarding.
- Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the wellness/healthcare landscape.
- Utilize knowledge of digital and local marketing strategies to inform and support business development efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine offerings and go-to-market strategies based on market feedback.
- Reporting & Performance:
- Accurately track sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics (KPIs) using CRM software.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales performance and business development progress to management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required. MBA (preferred, especially in Marketing or Business Administration).
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing roles.
- Prior experience in the wellness or healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong Sales Acumen: Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of effective digital and local marketing techniques.
- Proven ability to build and manage partnerships and drive client engagement.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
