JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Software Tester – Capital Markets Location: Navi Mumbai Experience: 5+ years We are seeking a Software Tester with deep expertise in Indian Capital Market domain and TCS BaNCS back-office systems. The ideal candidate will lead QA efforts, manage teams, and ensure high-quality delivery of capital market applications while adhering to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end testing for capital market applications and TCS BaNCS back-office systems. Oversee functional, regression, and integration testing across: Trade Life Cycle & Trade Settlement Sec Ops, Fund Ops, OMS, RMS Ops Compliance, CC, CM, Custodian operations Securities/Funds pay-in & pay-out, Auction, IPO, OFS/OTB Obligations and Regulatory reporting Validate trade processing and settlement accuracy. Collaborate with BA, Dev, and QA teams for requirement clarity and timely delivery. Drive defect management and resolution using JIRA. Prepare and review test documentation, reports, and ensure adherence to STLC/SDLC. Mentor and guide junior testers, enforce best practices, and manage workload distribution. Required Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of Indian Capital Market domain and Masters usage. Hands-on experience with TCS BaNCS back-office operations. Proficiency in one or more of the below: Trade Life Cycle, Trade Settlement Sec Ops, Fund Ops, OMS, RMS Ops Compliance, CC, CM, Custodian operations Securities/Funds pay-in & pay-out, Auction, IPO, OFS/OTB Obligations and Regulatory reporting Tools & Technical Skills: JIRA for defect tracking and test management SQL for data validation Knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and test management tools Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, UFT) Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Understanding of SEBI compliance and regulatory norms.
