Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Finance Professional to join our dynamic finance team. The role involves leading financial analysis, modeling, and deal structuring for large-scale renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of project finance principles, investment structuring, and stakeholder management within the energy or infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to assess project feasibility, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and valuation metrics.
  • Deal Structuring & Execution: Collaborate with project sponsors, lenders, and investors to structure and close financing deals (debt and equity). Oversee negotiation and documentation processes.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify financial, operational, and regulatory risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lender & Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investment partners to secure funding for projects.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare financial reports, ensure adherence to internal and external compliance requirements, and support audits.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective project covering financial, legal, and technical aspectsto support investment decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: MBA (Finance), CFA, or CA.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project finance, investment banking, or infrastructure financing, preferably within renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

  • Strong understanding of project finance structures and instruments.

  • Hands-on experience in deal execution, documentation, and negotiation.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
