We are a subsidiary of SHV Energy, a 125-year-old Dutch Purpose of the Job: The Risk and Control Manager at SunSource Energy will play a key part in establishing and maintaining the risk management and internal control framework. As Risk and Control Manager, you are part of the second line of defense, supporting the business to become and stay in control by identifying risks, potential control gaps and advising and supporting with process and control improvements. The Risk and Control manager will also coordinate internal control self-assessments with the control owners as part of the semi-annual control self-assessment process. The results will be reported by Risk and Control manager to SunSource management and to SHV Energy head officeGive a brief summary of what your company does
Roles and responsibilities: The role and responsibilities are broad and include, but are not limited to: Assisting senior Project Finance team with various tasks involved in raising project finance for various solar power plants implemented by the SSE Group. These involve Financial Closure, Loan Sanction, Lender Due Diligence, Financial Modelling, Credit Information Memorandum, Loan Disbursement Compliances, Term Loans and Working Capital Loan management
Key Responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of working and flow of Financial Models
• Co-ordinating with various internal teams to close Lender's due diligence / project appraisal for new debt raise and project financing and managing reporting requirements of existing Loan facilities. Drafting skills for Letters/correspondence to Lenders
• Fulfilling Pre-Disbursement Compliances such as arranging and sharing Project documents like PPA, LTOA, BPWA, O&M Agreement with Lenders
• Fulfilling Post Disbursement Loan Compliances such Creation of Security (CHG-1, Pledge of Shares and DSRA) and mortgage, RBI Annexure-1, RBI Annexure-3, FSMTL, Debtor Ageing Reports for Banks / Lenders, basic knowledge of Companies Act relating to Security creation in favour of Lenders, Release of security (CHG-4), etc.
• Co-ordinating and Gathering Information from internal departments for Lender DD and Credit Rating surveillances.
• Ensuring timely Debt Servicing
• Coordinate with F&A team for TRA Account Management

• Maintaining MIS and reports for various Loan Facilities
• Calculation of Financial Covenants/Ratios such as Debt Service Coverage Ratio, Fixed Asset Coverage Ratio, Net Worth to Debt, etc.
• Sending monthly No Default Statements (NDS) to Credit Rating Agencies
• Coordinating and arranging Site Visits of Lenders and their Consultants Processing Invoices/bills of Lenders and their consultants in timely manner
