Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant to support the daily accounting and financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, ledger maintenance, and bookkeeping, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting Tasks

  • Assist in maintaining day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Handle data entry and verify accuracy of financial information.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Assist in tracking customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all AP/AR transactions.

3. Bank & Cash Management

  • Assist in bank reconciliation on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Handle petty cash entries and maintain cash book.
  • Coordinate with banks for basic queries and documentation.

4. Taxation & Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory data.
  • Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Support in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain organized filing of invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
  • Support the senior accountant in audits and internal reviews.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting (freshers with good knowledge may apply).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred).
  • Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
