Profile - Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Accountant
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role is perfect for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports
  • Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and bank deposits
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Help prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation and filing systems
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior accounting staff or management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 0–2 years of accounting experience (internship experience is a plus)
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and standard accounting procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero)
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
