Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled InDesign Book Compositor with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in book typesetting, layout design, and print/digital formatting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a remote collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Typeset and format book content for print and digital publications
  • Maintain consistency in layout, typography, and styles
  • Prepare clean, structured layouts following style guides and templates
  • Review and ensure accuracy in formatting, spacing, pagination, and design
  • Work closely with editors, designers, and project teams to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an InDesign Book Compositor
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign (mandatory)
  • Understanding of typography, layout, grids, and book composition
  • Ability to follow templates, style guides, and project specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in publishing or book production preferred
