**Job Title**: Graphic Designer

**Working Hours**: 10 -hour shifts

**Skills**: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Design Principles, Branding and Designing for Print.

As a graphic designer, your role is to design eye-catching visuals for various products and activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, computer games, product packaging, exhibitions, and displays. You will be responsible for creating a visual brand for organizations by developing appropriate creative ideas and concepts that meet the client's objectives.

Once you agree on a brief with the client, creative director, or account manager, you will need to demonstrate creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to managing time, costs, and deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Study design briefs and determine requirements.
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Develop concepts by hand or with software and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic.

**Requirements**:

- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
- Five or more years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems
- Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
