About the Role

We are seeking an Applied Business Analyst who can bridge data, business strategy, and execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and hands-on, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights, models, and process improvements. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams—product, marketing, operations, and finance—to drive data-backed decision-making and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Insights
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Create business cases, scenario models, and ROI analyses to support decision-making.
  • Provide actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Translate business objectives into technical requirements for product and technology teams.
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, workflows, and KPIs.
  • Applied Analytics & Problem Solving
  • Apply statistical, regression, and other analytical methods to solve business problems.
  • Conduct "what-if" analysis, customer segmentation, and performance forecasting.
  • Support implementation of data-driven strategies across sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Process Improvement & Execution
  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose automation/optimization opportunities.
  • Work with teams to design and roll out business improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor performance metrics post-implementation and ensure adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Support leadership with periodic reviews, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, applied analytics, or consulting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Familiarity with statistical/analytical tools (Python/R preferred).
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
