Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Network Support Engineer based in Bangalore. The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting network issues, performing network administration tasks, and ensuring network security. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network performance, configuring network devices, and collaborating with other technical teams to maintain network stability and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks.
  • Manage routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Perform network performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Implement network security measures and best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors for upgrades and incident resolution.
  • Monitor network and security infrastructure 24x7.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, radius and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar devices.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, ManageEngine OPManager).
  • Certifications preferred: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
