We are looking for a
Network Field Engineer
with prior experience in broadband services (ideally with companies like ACT, Airtel, etc.). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in wireless networking, network portal management, and customer-facing support. You'll be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting our internet infrastructure, as well as interacting with end users and performing field visits when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi devices, routers, and access points.
  • Navigate and operate network management portals and backend systems.
  • Provide Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support to customers via calls, messages, or onsite visits.
  • Identify and resolve network-related issues including latency, downtime, and signal strength problems.
  • Perform field installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting when required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve persistent or critical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in broadband services or a similar technical support role.
  • Prior experience with ISPs like ACT, Airtel, Hathway, etc. is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of wireless networking, including Wi-Fi standards, frequency bands, routing, and NAT.
  • Familiarity with network portals (e.g., CRM, OSS/BSS tools, provisioning systems).
  • Hands-on experience with router and modem configuration (PPPoE, Static IP, DHCP, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local language.
  • Willingness to travel locally for field support and customer visits.
  • Basic knowledge of fiber networks or GPON systems.
  • Prior exposure to startup or high-growth environments.
  • Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+ (preferred)
