About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer to join our hybrid team in Bangalore. This role requires deep hands-on expertise across the entire network stack, including routing, switching, wireless, security, and WAN/LAN. You will troubleshoot complex customer network issues, influence product innovation, and help drive operational excellence. This is a dynamic, customer-facing position where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues spanning all layers (1-4) of customer networks remotely.
  • Manage and support diverse customer network environments involving wireless, WAN/LAN, routing, and security technologies.
  • Identify, document, and escalate product bugs or feature requests with clear reproduction steps to the engineering team.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to reduce resolution times.
  • Continuously develop technical depth and share expertise to elevate the team's capabilities.
  • Drive automation and use infrastructure-as-code, API interaction, and light programming to enhance product efficiency.
  • Provide high-quality, responsive technical service supporting long-term customer relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, product managers, and engineering teams to improve networking products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a network engineering role (not general IT support).
  • Strong hands-on skills in routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and manage issues across layers 1-4 of the network stack without hesitation.
  • Experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments with frequent context switching.
  • Preferred experience in network design and deployment across diverse verticals.
  • Exposure to Meraki or Mist networking products is a plus.
  • Light programming or automation experience (infrastructure-as-code, API interaction) preferred.
  • Willingness to work hybrid in Bangalore once the office is operational. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Bangalore upon joining.
