Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, organised, and highly motivated
Live Sales & Booking Agent
to join Our Circle. The primary responsibility of this role is to sell and secure opportunities for our
exclusive artists
, finding the right stages, venues, and events that align with their profiles. From public ticketed shows and college festivals to club events, public/social events, and international performances, you will ensure our artists are placed on the right platforms to maximise visibility, growth, and revenue.

In addition, you will also work on scouting, pitching, and selling non-exclusive artists when opportunities arise, expanding our network and presence in the live entertainment space.

What You'll Do

  • Exclusive Artist Sales & Booking -
    Sell and secure opportunities for Our Circle's exclusive artists across public shows, ticketed concerts, college festivals, club events, government events, private shows and international gigs. Build strong pipelines with venues, promoters, programming teams, event companies and curators to place artists on the right stages that match their profile and growth plans.
  • Non-Exclusive Artist Opportunities -
    Support in scouting, pitching and booking non-exclusive artists across genres, strengthening Our Circle's presence and widening opportunities across the live ecosystem.
  • Client Servicing -
    Act as the bridge between clients and artists. Understand briefs, recommend the right fits, send proposals and quotes, and manage clear and professional communication from first enquiry to final execution.
  • Sales & Market Strategy -
    Identify new markets and untapped opportunities for Our Circle's exclusive roster. Plan quarterly live calendars, research the right event properties, and design tailored pitches for promoters, brands and venues.
  • Event Operations & Logistics -
    Assist in coordinating live event flow - including artist schedules, travel, hospitality, tech riders and vendor communication - ensuring every show runs smoothly.
  • Industry Knowledge Application -
    Leverage your understanding of music genres, talent profiles, financial models, promoters, venues and India's annual event calendar to make informed recommendations and smart sales decisions.
  • Problem Solving -
    Handle last-minute challenges such as travel delays, technical issues or scheduling clashes with calmness, clarity and urgency.
  • Documentation & Reporting -
    Maintain updated trackers, artist files, cost sheets and internal databases to ensure the team has complete visibility of sales pipelines and bookings.

Qualifications

  • Based in Mumbai and available to work full-time during internship hours.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in live entertainment or the wider entertainment industry.
  • Academic background in Mass Media, Business Management, Engineering, or currently pursuing studies in a related field. A degree is not mandatory, but sharpness, initiative, and cultural awareness are essential.
  • Flexibility to travel and work on weekends, because the best shows rarely happen on weekdays.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Canva, and modern AI tools for content and workflow.
  • Tech-savvy with a creative mindset, able to adapt quickly to new platforms and digital trends.
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the discipline to deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Role-Specific Edge

  • Deep taste and understanding of music across genres, with awareness of how talent and artist ecosystems function.
  • Strong grasp of the live booking ecosystem in India, including how financials and deal structures work.
  • Prior exposure to event operations, logistics, and full event flow from planning to execution.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with promoters, curators, booking companies, and agencies.
  • Familiarity with key venues, festivals, and event initiatives across India.
  • Awareness of India's annual event calendar and how to align artists with the right opportunities.
  • A natural ability to network, build relationships, and understand the business side of entertainment with both precision and passion.
