About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled SQL Analyst to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and transforming data into actionable insights through complex SQL queries and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers for data extraction and analysis.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Work closely with business teams to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple databases and sources.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
  • Support ETL processes and collaborate with data engineers on pipeline optimization.
  • Document data definitions, processes, and reporting logic.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related performance issues and database errors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud databases such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Exposure to business intelligence (BI) platforms and self-service analytics.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
