Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and supporting data analytics efforts to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain database objects including tables, indexes, views, and schemas.
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide efficient solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Assist in data migration, integration, and ETL processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs and processes.
  • Monitor database performance and recommend improvements.
  • Support reporting and data extraction activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Strong experience with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of database security and backup/recovery methods.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with data warehousing and BI tools (e.g., SSIS, SSRS, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Certification in SQL or Database Administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate)
