About the Role

Med-Metrix is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior SQL Data Analyst to join our data-driven team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems with data, has deep SQL expertise, and enjoys collaborating across teams to drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and optimize advanced SQL queries across multiple data sources
  • Design and maintain complex data models, dashboards, and reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends and growth opportunities
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems and tools
  • Automate recurring reports and build scalable data pipelines
  • Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis with strong SQL focus
  • Expert-level SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, indexing)
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Python or R for data manipulation
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and best practices
  • Background in agile environments
