Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tableau and SQL, with strong analytical skills and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights. Experience in Python and web analytics will be considered a strong advantage.

As a Senior Tableau Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that support business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable Tableau dashboards and visualizations that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and translate data requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing Tableau reports and dashboards.
  • Lead best practices for Tableau development and data visualization standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior Tableau developers and analysts.
  • Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, tools, and industry trends.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
  • Work with web analytics tools and data to derive insights
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to streamline data pipelines and improve data accessibility.

Skills:

  • Tableau Certified Professional
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Tableau development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience with Python scripting for data analysis and automation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
