Job Title: Solar Panel Installer (Solar Technician)

Job Purpose:

To install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems on homes, businesses, or other buildings to ensure they work safely and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic electrical or construction knowledge

Solar installation training or certification

Ability to work safely at heights and outdoors

Problem-solving and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift panels and equipment

Comfortable working on roofs and in different weather conditions

Main Parts Included in a Solar Panel System

Solar Panels (PV Modules)

Capture sunlight and turn it into electricity (DC power).

Inverter

Converts DC power from the panels into AC power (the kind used in homes and businesses).

Holds the solar panels in place on the roof or ground.

Wiring and Cables

Connect panels to the inverter and to your electrical system.

Combiner Box / Junction Box

Combines electrical connections safely from multiple panels.

Electrical Safety Devices

Circuit breakers, fuses, disconnect switches, earthing (grounding) systems.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install solar panels, wiring, and mounting structures.
  • Connect solar panels to inverters and electrical systems.
  • Check that the system works correctly and safely.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs when needed.
  • Follow electrical codes, safety rules, and building standards.
  • Work with engineers, electricians, and customers on-site.
  • Keep records of installations and report progress.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
