About the Job:

Join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering large-scale solar projects from construction to commissioning.. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the on-ground civil works execution and ensuring all civil works are executed to the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards., facilitating a smooth and efficient commissioning process. This is a crucial role that bridges the construction and operational readiness of our solar projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in site supervision and execution of civil engineering works, with exposure to the commissioning phase, preferably within the solar industry.
  • Piling Experience + MMS Erection experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures specific to civil works in the solar industry in India.
  • Understanding of site safety regulations and implementation practices during construction and commissioning.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine project feasibility and compliance with local regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the civil engineering aspects of large-scale solar installations, including foundation types (driven piles, ballasted), piling tracker systems, and substation/inverter station civil works.
  • Core Civil guy experienced in Buildings, Brdiges, Platforms etc, need not have Piling Experience
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations relevant to construction and commissioning activities on solar project sites in India.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing documentation related to civil works completion and handover for commissioning.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with construction teams, commissioning engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet both construction deadlines and commissioning requirements.

Relevant Responsibilities:

Civil Construction Management: Supervise on-site civil works, ensuring compliance with IFC drawings, project specifications, and commissioning prerequisites.

Civil Interface & Coordination: Act as the primary civil engineering interface, collaborating with electrical and mechanical teams for seamless commissioning integration.

QA/QC & Safety Compliance: Enforce civil quality assurance and HSE protocols to maintain structural integrity and commissioning safety.

Drawing & Document Control: Review IFC drawings, method statements, and civil as-builts critical for commissioning handover.

Progress & Material Management: Track civil milestones, manage material logistics, and prevent delays impacting commissioning.

Technical Issue Resolution: Address civil-related NCRs and site challenges affecting commissioning timelines.

Pre-Commissioning & Testing Support: Participate in inspections, facilitate access, and support commissioning tests for civil infrastructure.

Stakeholder & Environmental Compliance: Ensure alignment with project teams, clients, and environmental management plans (EMPs).
