Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated
Senior Engineer – Solar (EPC)
to join our Projects team in
Narayankhed, Telangana
.

In this role, you'll lead the engineering and execution of utility-scale solar projects. You'll work closely with our design, site, and vendor teams to make sure every project is delivered on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Engineering & Design Coordination

  • Review and validate engineering documents such as layouts, SLDs, BoQs, and structural drawings.
  • Work with design consultants, EPC contractors, and internal teams to optimize system design.
  • Ensure all designs follow national and international standards (CEA, IS, IEC, etc.).
  • Review PVsyst simulations, energy yield reports, and performance studies.

Project Execution

  • Supervise daily site activities — foundations, module structures, cabling, and installation.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and as per approved drawings and quality standards.
  • Lead daily and weekly progress meetings and report updates to management.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure material availability and timely completion.

Vendor & Procurement Support

  • Evaluate vendors and review technical submissions.
  • Approve vendor drawings and documentation.
  • Track material delivery schedules and assist in inspections.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare daily progress and inspection reports.
  • Liaise with local DISCOM and government authorities for project clearances.
  • Support the preparation of as-built drawings and handover documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    or related field.
  • 6–7 years
    of total experience, with
    at least 4 years in Solar EPC (utility-scale or C&I)
    projects.
  • Strong understanding of solar plant design, electrical systems, and field execution.
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office
    tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to be based at
    Narayankhed, Telangana
    , with periodic visits to Hyderabad Head Office.

Preferred:

  • Experience with
    PM-KUSUM or distributed solar projects
    .
  • Familiarity with
    SCADA, RMS, and remote monitoring systems
    .
  • Experience in working with
    TGREDCO, DISCOM, and CEIG
    processes.
