We are looking for a motivated Ammonia Refrigeration Design Engineer to join our Chandigarh team and contribute to designing efficient and safe refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of ammonia-based industrial refrigeration systems
  • Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and piping design
  • Prepare P&ID, layout drawings, and detailed engineering documentation
  • Support in estimation, BOQ preparation, and technical proposals
  • Coordinate with project and procurement teams for execution support
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards related to ammonia systems
  • Interact with clients for design reviews and technical discussions

Required Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma candidates with strong domain experience can also apply)
  • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration cycle, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and valves
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks and basic thermodynamic calculations
  • Understanding of industrial safety and pressure vessel design standards preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience:

  • 1–4 years in refrigeration system design (preferably ammonia-based)

Salary:

₹35,000 – ₹60,000 per month (based on skills and experience)
