About the Role

Own end-to-end export operations for chemical products (including Dangerous & Hazardous Goods via sea and air), ensuring regulatory compliance, on-time shipments, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination with internal teams, logistics partners, customs, banks, and international customers.

Qualifications -

• B.Sc. Chemistry with Diploma in Import/Export management with knowledge of MS-Office, SAP & Internet.
• 7-10 years exp. handling export of various types of chemicals, including Dangerous & Hazardous Cargo by sea & air.

Responsibilities

• Export Operations (Sea & Air, DG/HAZ):
  Plan and execute shipments for various chemical classes; ensure correct DG declarations, UN numbers, packing/marking/labels per IMDG/IATA DGR; coordinate freight bookings, VGM, stuffing, and carrier cut-offs.
• Regulatory & Customs/DGFT:
  Handle IEC, HS codes, duty drawback/benefits, DGFT schemes (Advance Authorisation/EPCG), license applications, and compliance on ICEGATE/EDI; liaise with customs, CHA, and port/airport authorities.
• Pre- & Post-Shipment Documentation:
  Prepare/check Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, SI/SLI, BL/AWB, COO, Insurance, SDS/MSDS, COA/TDS, Fumigation/SGS where applicable; submit post-shipment docs, track e-BRC/BRC and realization.
• Taxation & Returns:
  Manage Service Tax/GST refunds, LUT/Bond (as applicable), drawback/RODTEP claims, and timely filings; maintain audit-ready records.
• Finance & Banking:
  Prepare LC/DA/DP documentation, negotiate documents with banks, track acceptance/realization, and reconcile export incentives; generate
  Bank Certificate of Realisation (BRC/e-BRC)
  .
• Vendor & Cost Control:
  Process CHA and transporter bills, verify tariffs vs. contracts, and drive freight/cost optimization without impacting OTIF.
• Customer & Commercial Support:
  Handle enquiries, vendor registrations, tenders/quotations/ARC, and order processing; correspondence with international clients on order status, documents, and claims.
• Data & Systems:
  Create prospects/customers and maintain master data in
  SAP
  ; enter orders, delivery, billing; maintain export dashboards/MIS (sales, OTIF, cost, incentives).
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
  Work with Logistics, Production, QC/Technical, and Sales to align dispatch plans, documentation, and special packing/testing needs.
• Quality & ISO:
  Maintain SOPs, records, CAPA and support audits for
  ISO 9001
  ; ensure zero non-conformities in export processes.

Required Skills ( Preferred)

• DG/IATA DGR/IMDG awareness or certification.
• Experience with Letters of Credit (UCP 600), marine insurance claims, and origin/certification platforms.
• Familiarity with SDS/UN packaging standards and country-specific compliance.
• Mumbai based candidate preferred.
