Job Title: Physical Design Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Design Manager to join our team. As a Physical Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical design of integrated circuits, ensuring that they meet performance, power, and area requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of projects and deliver high-quality designs on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of physical design engineers in the development and implementation of physical design methodologies
  • Collaborate with design, verification, and implementation teams to optimize designs for performance, power, and area
  • Drive the physical design flow from RTL to GDSII, ensuring design closure and sign-off
  • Perform floorplanning, power grid design, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and physical verification
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in physical design of integrated circuits
  • Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools for physical design and verification
  • Strong understanding of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
