Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Influencer Manager (or Influencer Executive) to develop, execute and manage influencer-marketing initiatives. This role will drive partnerships with social media influencers and content creators, build brand awareness, engage target audiences and contribute to measurable business goals via influencer channels. The candidate will collaborate with marketing, social media, content and PR teams to maximize the impact of influencer campaigns.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
- Define and implement the influencer-marketing strategy in alignment with broader marketing and brand objectives
- Set clear campaign goals/KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions, brand awareness) before launch.
- Conduct market research: understand our target audience, identify trends in social media and influencer space, and monitor competitor activity
- Develop budgets, timelines and resource plans for influencer initiatives.
Influencer Identification & Relationship Management
- Source, evaluate and onboard relevant influencers/content creators whose audience, style and values align with our brand.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with influencers: deliverables, timelines, compensation, exclusivity, usage rights etc.
- Manage ongoing relationships with influencers: act as the point of contact, ensure deliverables are met, give creative input, manage expectations and maintain long-term partnerships.
Campaign Execution
- Brief influencers: align them with brand messaging, campaign objectives, content guidelines, timeline and deliverables.
- Coordinate creative development: work with content/social/creative teams to ensure content meets brand standards and campaign goals.
- Oversee content publishing: ensure influencer posts go live as per schedule, monitor brand tagging/mentions, ensure transparency/disclosure (if applicable) and compliance with regulations.
- Track and manage campaign logistics: e.g., gifting, product dispatch, travel or experiential coordination
Monitoring & Performance Analysis
- Track campaign metrics (e.g., reach, impressions, engagement rate, conversion, ROI) and maintain a campaign tracker/dashboard.
- Provide post-campaign reports with actionable insights, learnings and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Optimize campaigns in-flight (where possible) and adapt strategy based on real-time performance and trends.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with social media managers, content creators, PR teams, paid media teams (if amplifying influencer content), legal/compliance (for contracts, disclosures, usage rights) and product teams.
- Ensure influencer content aligns seamlessly with other marketing initiatives and brand voice.
Trend & Platform Awareness
- Stay up to date with social media and influencer marketing trends, platform algorithm changes, emerging creator types, and best practices for influencer campaigns.
- Proactively test new formats, platforms or strategies (e.g., short-form video, live streams, brand/influencer collaborations) to drive innovation.
