Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, and financial compliance for our fire-fighting projects and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
GST, TDS, Income Tax Return (ITR) filing, Billing, BOQ (Bill of Quantities) handling, and project-related accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Prepare, calculate, and file
    GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return)
    and handle GST reconciliation.
  • Manage
    TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and notice handling.
  • Prepare and file
    Income Tax Returns (ITR)
    for the company.
  • Oversee
    billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
    for fire-fighting projects.
  • Work with
    BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
    and project cost tracking to ensure accurate billing.
  • Handle statutory compliances such as
    PF, ESIC, Professional Tax
    etc.
  • Maintain accounts as per
    Income Tax and Company Law norms.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, accounting entries, and record keeping for projects.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum
    5–8 years
    of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
  • Industry Experience:
    Candidates with prior experience in
    fire-fighting, MEP, or construction sector
    will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Tally / ERP software, MS Excel, and accounting tools.
  • In-depth understanding of
    GST, TDS, ITR, and project-based billing.
