About the Role
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) serves as the primary representative of the brand, playing a vital role in delivering a warm, helpful, and trustworthy customer experience on the retail floor. They are responsible for interacting with customers, identifying their needs, recommending appropriate product solutions, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. By doing so, the CSA helps ensure that every family leaves the store feeling satisfied and supported. This role is especially important in fostering brand loyalty, influencing purchasing decisions, and encouraging repeat visits particularly in a retail setting focused on young parents, babies, and toddlers.
Key Responsibilities
● Customer Engagement & Sales Support: Welcome every customer with genuine warmth, empathy, and enthusiasm. Understand their specific needs such as the child's age, intended product use, or safety concerns and recommend suitable products. Support customers in locating items, explaining features, usage, and care instructions. Proactively highlight ongoing promotions, loyalty benefits, and suggest complementary products through upselling and cross-selling.
● Creating a Personalized Shopping Experience: Build meaningful connections with returning customers by remembering preferences, past purchases, or special occasions like birthdays. Offer extra guidance to first-time parents or those buying gifts. Provide patient and considerate assistance to elderly customers, expectant mothers, and families with small children.
● Handling Customer Concerns & Queries: Address and resolve minor customer complaints directly on the floor with professionalism. For more complex or policy-related issues, escalate them to the Floor or Store Manager with clear and timely communication. Follow up when needed on delayed services or product-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
● Product Knowledge & Brand Representation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ranges, safety instructions, warranties, and new arrivals. Be well-versed in baby care best practices, safety guidelines, and appropriate product use. Represent the brand with confidence, professionalism, and appropriate grooming, language, and behavior.
● Store Maintenance & Visual Merchandising: Keep shelves, displays, and demo areas clean, organized, and safe for children. Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards by arranging merchandise neatly. Ensure all products are correctly labeled with accurate prices and relevant information.

Compensation & Benefits
● Salary Range: ₹1,80,000 – ₹2,40,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
