Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
AWS DevOps Engineer
with strong expertise in
Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and Apache Druid
to join our high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in
automating infrastructure, container orchestration, CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud migration
on AWS. The role demands a deep understanding of modern DevOps tools, cloud security, and scalable architecture practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize
    containerized applications
    using
    Amazon EKS
    ,
    Docker
    , and
    Kubernetes
    .
  • Create, manage, and troubleshoot
    Helm charts
    for application deployments.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain
    Apache Druid
    and
    Apache Airflow
    environments.
  • Design, build, and manage
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    using
    Terraform
    .
  • Develop and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    using
    GitLab
    ,
    GitHub
    , and
    Jenkins
    .
  • Plan and execute
    cloud migration strategies
    (on-prem to AWS or cloud-to-cloud).
  • Implement and support
    application modernization
    — from
    monolithic to microservices
    architectures.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate
    DevOps practices
    into
    Java Spring Boot and microservices-based applications
    .
  • Create and maintain
    design documents
    ,
    architectural diagrams
    , and
    operational documentation
    for AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Ensure
    cloud security compliance
    , including
    SSL certificate management
    ,
    IAM policies
    ,
    encryption
    , and
    WAF configurations
    .
  • Configure and maintain
    monitoring and observability
    tools such as
    Grafana
    ,
    Splunk
    ,
    ELK
    , and
    CloudWatch
    .

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with
    AWS Services
    including
    EKS, EC2, EFS, S3, Route 53, WAF, SNS, SQS, SES, KMS, Load Balancers, CloudFront, CloudWatch
    , etc.
  • Deep understanding of
    Kubernetes
    ,
    Helm
    , and
    Docker
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Terraform
    for infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining
    CI/CD pipelines
    (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Proven experience with
    cloud migrations
    and
    infrastructure automation
    .
  • Proficiency in
    scripting languages
    (Python or Bash).
  • Solid understanding of
    cloud security
    ,
    IAM policies
    , and
    data encryption
    .

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with
    monitoring and logging stacks
    (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
  • Exposure to
    cost optimization
    and
    performance tuning
    in AWS environments.
  • Familiarity with
    serverless services
    (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Knowledge of
    Agile/Scrum
    methodologies and DevOps best practices.
