About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of our AWS cloud infrastructure, deployments, and optimization, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. You will work closely with our development team to support and enhance our tech stack, which includes , TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Python, and FastAPI, while leveraging AWS services such as Amplify, SQS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support our platform.
  • Take full ownership of deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth, automated, and reliable CI/CD processes.
  • Optimize AWS services for cost, performance, and scalability, including Amplify, SQS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and other relevant services.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate and deploy , TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Python, and FastAPI-based applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency through proactive analysis and optimization.
  • Stay updated on AWS services and recommend new tools or approaches to enhance our platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT experience and 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to Amplify, SQS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC.
  • Proven experience in deploying and maintaining applications built with , TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Python, and FastAPI.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in a cloud environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workloads or platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database optimization and management with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS.
