Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform and Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure to support our development and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform (modular, reusable code).
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure security, cost optimization, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support microservices deployment and scaling.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Solid experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and automation scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and IAM policies in AWS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio), GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD), or policy-as-code (e.g., OPA).
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
