The Deputy General Manager SAP FICO will lead and support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules across global operations. The role requires deep expertise in finance transformation, digital tools, and process automation to enable business efficiency within a complex, multi-country SAP environment (ECC & HANA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP FICO implementation and support across global entities, integrating with third-party systems and internal finance functions.
  • Partner with the CFOs office to enhance financial process efficiency, automation, and digitalization.
  • Analyze complex business process requirements and deliver system solutions using SAP FI/CO.
  • Drive workshops, map business requirements, configure FICO modules, and identify system gaps.
  • Act as a key liaison between business users and technical teams, including SAP consultants.
  • Provide user support, training, documentation, and process enhancements across projects.
  • Engage with cross-functional modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.) for seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate with global consultants and partners (e.g., IBM, Deloitte, PwC) on project execution.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 10+ years of SAP FI/CO experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership/business partnering role.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects.
  • Strong functional knowledge of budgeting, costing, pricing, and valuation processes.
  • Experience in global SAP rollouts (especially outside Asia) and working in a pharma/process industry preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise with ECC and S/4HANA platforms is mandatory.
  • Good understanding of SAP integration points (MM, SD, PP), with knowledge of automation tools and production metrics.
