• Ms. Manisha Padhi, alumni of CGU have been appointed as the ADC to The Honble Governor of Mizoram in 2023 and became the first ever female to hold the position.
• Ms. Swagatika Mohanty, Civil Engineering , has bagged the 15th rank in Odisha Civil Services Exam in 2023 and is now a functional, respectable, responsible OAS.
• Safia Aktar, Anshu Kumari, and Radhika Rani Panda won the 1st prize at 10-Hour Women Hackathon organised by Trithon Triplets 2k23.
• Abhishek Kumar, B.Tech (ECE) awarded the Visweswaraya Prativa Puraskar at Odisha Technological Conclave, 2023.
• Mr. Praveen Giri won the Silver Medal in the area of Water Technology at World Skills, Stuttgart, Germany, 2022.
• Mr. Subrat Patel won Medallion of Excellence in the area of Restaurant Services at World Skills, Stuttgart, Germany, 2022.
• 9 students represented India in World skills 2022 in 7 various Skills.
• CGU won Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2022 in Software Edition.

Where You Come In

The Technical Assistant (Transport) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all documentation and administrative activities related to the universitys transport operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records of all vehicles, ensuring timely completion of vehicle fitness requirements with the RTO, and managing routine and preventive maintenance actions. The incumbent also handles all insurance-related documentation, renewals, and claims, as well as prepares and processes necessary papers for billing and other financial actions associated with the transport department.

Supervision Details:

Immediate Supervisor: Administrative Officer

Indirect Supervisors - Registrar, President & Vice President

Direct Repartees : Drivers and Helpers

Salary Details:

Salary Information: Best commensurate with experience and interview performance

Job Location: CGU campus

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Document Action of All Vehicles: Maintain and update all vehicle documents and ensure timely renewals.

2.Fitness Action in RTO: Coordinate with RTO for vehicle fitness and compliance certifications.

3.Maintenance Action: Monitor and manage vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair records.

4.Insurance-Related Paper Action: Handle insurance renewals, documentation, and claim processes.

5.Paper Action for Billing: Prepare and process all billing-related documents and records.

Who Are We Looking For

• Minimum set Qualification: Diploma
• Experience: 1 to 2 years

The ideal candidate is expected to ensure smooth handling of all transport operations, including documentation, RTO fitness, maintenance, insurance, and billing.
