Role Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Sales Executive who can understand and engage with industries such as Paint, Paper, Ink, Rubber, and Ceramics. Based in Ahmedabad, you will play a key role in driving new business, building customer relationships, and representing Rio Clays as a trusted partner in mineral solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business opportunities across multiple verticals (Paint, Paper, Ink, Rubber, Ceramics).
  • Engage with technical and commercial stakeholders to provide product solutions.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
  • Identify new leads and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, trade shows, and exhibitions.
  • Work closely with internal teams (R&D, QA/QC, logistics, accounts) to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum Undergraduate Degree (Science/Commerce/Engineering preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in any of the mentioned industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of at least one vertical (Paint, Paper, Ink, Rubber, or Ceramics), with the ability to connect product applications to customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as per business requirements.
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently in a B2B environment.
