Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Application Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and processing student applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Documentation:
  • Efficiently manage and maintain accurate student application data within our systems.
  • Prepare and organize required documentation for application processing.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Application Processing:
  • Guide students through the application process, providing clear instructions and support.
  • Review applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify academic transcripts, work experience certificates, and other supporting documents.
  • Liaise with students and institutions to resolve any queries or issues.
  • System Utilization:
  • Utilize our application portals and systems to track and manage applications efficiently.
  • Stay updated on system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to provide timely updates and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of applicant tracking systems and other relevant software
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and1 prioritize tasks
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • A positive and proactive attitude

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in education or a related field
  • Knowledge of higher education systems and processes is preferred
