Job Title: Institutional Equity Dealer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Institutional Equity Dealer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trades, managing portfolios, and providing market expertise to institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute equity trades on behalf of institutional clients (mutual funds, insurance companies, FIIs, pension funds, corporates, etc.) in compliance with SEBI and exchange regulations.
  • Monitor market movements, indices, and stock-specific developments to provide real-time updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with fund managers, dealers, and analysts at institutional clients.
  • Coordinate with the research team to disseminate reports, investment ideas, and market strategies to clients.
  • Ensure best price execution and minimal market impact while placing large institutional orders.
  • Manage client orders, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations with operations/back-office teams.
  • Track client positions, risk exposures, and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the sales team in pitching equity ideas and investment strategies.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes (SEBI, NSE, BSE) and ensure adherence to all compliance requirements.
  • Generate periodic MIS/reports on trades and client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of equity markets, trading platforms, and market microstructure.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical ability to understand research ideas and market trends.
  • Quick decision-making and ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/Reuters/Terminal and trading software.
  • Good grasp of compliance and risk management in equity dealing.

Qualifications::

  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (preferred) / Graduate with relevant experience.
  • NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification – mandatory for trading.
  • 2–6 years of experience in equity dealing with institutional clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250, ₹500,000.00 per year
