The Work You'll Do:
As a Global Account Manager, you'll work with a global team to manage and grow our most strategic client relationships. You'll be responsible for selling Sovos' SaaS-based tax compliance solutions to existing clients while identifying new opportunities within your accounts. Supporting multiple global accounts with ARR over $1 million, you'll manage complex sales cycles, develop strategic account plans, and drive revenue growth in an emerging market.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales opportunities within global accounts
- Sell and promote Sovos' SaaS-based products, with focus on GST and tax compliance solutions
- Manage a balanced pipeline and consistently meet/exceed revenue targets and quotas
- Navigate complex, large enterprise sales cycles ($250K+) and close late-stage deals successfully
- Build strong relationships with Senior Executives and C-level stakeholders
- Provide accurate sales data and pipeline management in
- Demonstrate passion for success with a relentless desire to win
What We Need from You:
- 5+ years of corporate selling experience with proven track record of quota attainment
- Strong background in GST compliance, tax technology, or related industry (5+ years preferred)
- Demonstrated success selling large enterprise deals ($250K+) to Senior Executives
- Proven experience driving sales and managing customer relationships in the South India market.
- Experience with and MS Office suite
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Self-motivated team player with drive to exceed targets
- Moderate travel required (less than 50%)
Please note that this is a remote role. However, Candidates must be residing in Hyderabad or Chennai as the position requires occasional region-specific collaboration.
